"Rosie", my miniature donkey, became trapped under her turnout fence, severely injuring her back leg. Waiting for the vet, I managed to get her up, instantly her leg trembled from the trauma and pain. For fear that her leg was fractured, I was advised to do the humane thing right there.
" Dear Lord" I thought and remembered how she was such a survivor, I said, " no, I want to give her every chance possible," my vet went along with my decision.
We X-rayed her in the turnout, made a sling, and were able to get her to the stall. Another vet came and examined her to see if her pelvis was also fractured. A catheter was stitched into her neck and for 3 days, she was given 1000's of cc of fluids, more x-rays, an ultra sound and pain medication. Because of her tiny body, it was impossible to see a hair line fracture, but that still held for the diagnosis because of her condition. Each day, I asked, " Rosie, what do you want me to do?" Each day she would show me that she was a fighter. She wouldn't give up, neither would I. It was a long hard road for her, and little by little she was able to get up and move around the stall.

After weeks I got her outside. She embraced each blade of grass, each ray of sunshine and for the first time,I had hope. Her leg was starting to atrophy. It was changing her entire conformation. The next dilemma was managing of her feet (trimming, cleaning) so thrush or laminitis wouldn't accrue. I bought a sling and was hoping to acclimate her to it before the farrier came. I started with a stall guard so she would accept something confining around her body. We used that for her first quick trimming; one person on either side holding her up. It was an exhausting experience for her. She was quite lame after.
Than a most wondrous day happened. Sally and Cindy walked into the barn to visit and Reiki her friend's horse. I asked if it would look at Rosie. Without hesitations off she went to the stall, all before I say anything about Rosie's injury and past history.
At the stall door, an overwhelming sense of complete peace entered my entire being. It was peaceful beyond understanding, I wept, and realized I had entered into that place of divine intervention; being in the presence of the Lord. His work was being done and Sally was His tool. I stood quietly watching, not wanting to step an inch from that place. Sally's hands moved gently over and above my tiny donkey's body. All was quiet. I silently prayed in gratitude. Cindy and Rosie were face to face, as two long friend meeting again.
Rosie communicated to Cindy (before the adoption) how she had been through much worse. (That was true!)
After Sally said she had to brace herself. Rosie was leaning against her and into the energy. She could feel minute changes occurring within Rosie's body. After time (there was no way to measure time) Rosie did almost like 'a shiver' of her entire body and the session was over.
From that first visit everything has taken a most miraculous change. Rosie began walking almost normal (limping but using the leg), her conformation is changing, I can see muscles beginning to come back. She can again drop down and roll as much as her little heart desires. She can free graze anywhere on the property. She hates bath time and acts like a stallion, dancing in place and tries to drag me as far from the hose. I can clean all 4 feet without help. I keep the sling as a reminder that miracles still happen.
The most wondrous sight is that spark of life and spirit that was designed for all His creation, is now back, along with her very loud honking to let you know of her presence....that's my Rosie
There truly are no words to express the gratefulness of what has happened , except thank you Sally for sharing such a precious gift from your heart with those that are in such need.
We love you forever from our heat of hearts,
— Rosie and Sandy |

"I've always said, 'the older you get, the
more you learn to understand yourself.' When I was having some real difficulty
with my knees, my friend, Sally Hamer, was starting out on a new career;
she was becoming a massage therapist. Little did I know that she would
save me from pain and, more than once, help me heal emotionally.
She started me out
with some therapeutic massage and fascia release on my knees. This got
me walking with NO pain. She has the gift to know where the body needs
some TLC 'a la Sally'.
Next, when I dislocated
my elbow, the doctor felt that I would never have full range of motion.
Much to my delight Sally fixed me up with some more therapeutic massage.
I now can straighten my arm to the full range of motion.
Then Sally straightened
my toe which curled into a ball when I spent too much time on my feet."

"I have experienced and used professionally many
forms of healing; the traditional in my work as a cognitive-behavioral
therapist, the alternative including light body and energy work, intuitive
healing, shamanism, the medicine wheel and Reiki.
The Cymatron Sound Table is a unique experience that
touched upon elements of all that I have learned. It combines sound and
geometric qualities to produce an overall sense of well being. It is a
holistic approach that integrates mind, body and spirit in a non-threatening
environment. No matter what your level of experience is, in this journey
of life, this definitely is worth trying."

I met Sally Hamer
when she came to DoveStar as a student in 1998. Little did I know at that
time that she would become one of the most talented and intuitive body
and energy workers I would have the good fortune to call a friend. Since
her graduation, Sally has continued to expand her knowledge and understanding
through continuing education courses in a variety of modalities.
Recently she demonstrated to me one of her newest projects,
Color Harmonics, by SpectreHue. She spent about 15 minutes shining different
colored lights on my face while I sat comfortably relaxed in a chair with
my eyes closed. I could feel a wonderful, calm, warm energy flowing through
my body. When she finished there was no tension left in my body and I
was happy with that result. Then Sally suggested I look in the mirror.
Wow! All of the deep lines in my face had become lighter and the small
lines had all but disappeared. Then Sally told me that the usual suggested
treatment is 6 visits. I could really get to like this.
It is now 2 hours later and my face is still tingling
from the blood circulation with none of the burning that comes with the
usual chemical cosmetic products so popular today. The wonderful bonus
is that I still feel relaxed and energized, ready to get on with my day.
Thanks Sally, for introducing me to this wonderful new
technique.
